Online Colorado Big Game Hunting Statistics
Helping you decipher Colorado Big Game Hunting Statistics
GMUResearch.com is my answer to the difficult task of sorting through all the Department of Wildlife (DOW) big game drawing summaries, harvest, and preference point reports to find the information I need to select or verify a new or prospective hunting area.
I cannot count how many times over the last couple of years people have posted questions on hunting forum sites looking for information. Hopefully the data we have on this web site will help answer questions like these;
- Which OTC unit has the best Archery Cow Elk success?
- How many people hunt my new area in a year?
- How many preference points does a non-resident need to draw unit XYZ?
- What is the average Buck Mule Deer harvest for 2nd Rifle Season in my new unit?
- What hunt codes are associated with GMU 33?
Starting in late December of 2007 this site has converted to an annual subscription site. But don't fret, we only charge $9.95 a year. Most of the site remains free. This includes the forum, contributed articles and most of the summary data data for each animal.
Not sure of what you get for $9.95? Check out our sample data. We explain the formats, and how you can use them to figure out where to hunt this year.
